Vehicle Integration & Test Internship - Summer 2027 (Aerospace)

Location: Full-time, on-site in Los Angeles, California, United States. Summer internships run between May and August 2027, with dates dependent on the selected student's university schedule.

Salary: $33.00 per hour. Interns may be eligible for relocation support of up to $4,000 gross and a commute credit of up to $850.

hirify.global develops commercial space infrastructure, including in-orbit pharmaceutical processing systems, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses.

What you will do

• Support the assembly, integration, and verification of spacecraft and reentry systems.
• Design or contribute to hardware and software supporting spacecraft or payload development.
• Develop and support system test campaigns, including test planning, execution, and documentation.
• Perform analysis for development and verification activities.
• Develop ground support equipment, flight hardware modifications, test utilities, and automation tools.
• Support avionics integration, propulsion testing, or Python-based test operations depending on project needs.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Hands-on experience in any engineering discipline.
• Modeling or assembly CAD experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person for access to export-controlled technology.
• U.S. person status means being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or co-op experience.
• Experience on technical project teams such as rocketry clubs or Formula SAE.
• Python experience.
