2027 Summer Internship - Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Englewood, Colorado, United States. Must work in person, full-time, for 12 weeks beginning in May 2027.

Compensation: $28/hour, paid hourly. Housing stipend: $300/week.

Commercial space organization focused on the development and operation of lunar missions.

What you will do

• Support active engineering projects, programs, and day-to-day team activities.
• Apply classroom knowledge to technical and business challenges.
• Work with engineers, technical specialists, and business professionals.
• Conduct research, analysis, documentation, testing, and project support.
• Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Present completed work and accomplishments at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Complete at least two years of college-level coursework by the start of the Summer 2027 internship.
• Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and continue education after the internship.
• Pursue a degree relevant to the internship area.
• Demonstrate communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Show curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Be available for a full-time, in-person 12-week internship in Englewood, Colorado, beginning in May 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced design and development environment.
• Familiarity with Agile software engineering practices and processes.
• Previous engineering internship experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
