People Operations Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Act as the first point of contact for employee questions about benefits, payroll, policies, leave, and other people-related topics.
• Own onboarding from signed offer through the first day, including background checks, work authorization, equipment, and access coordination.
• Manage benefits programs, statutory leave, enrollments, life-event changes, and local requirements across multiple countries.
• Coordinate day-to-day relationships with PEO and EOR partners in the US, Spain, the UK, EMEA, and LATAM.
• Maintain accurate employee records, status changes, and data integrity in Rippling.
• Build people programs and automate repetitive HR processes using AI tools and HRIS workflows.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a generalist People role, ideally in a technology company or fast-growing startup.
• Hands-on HRIS experience; Rippling experience is preferred.
• Experience across onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee support.
• Experience handling international HR complexity, including EOR partners, local counsel, and employment law frameworks.
• Strong coordination skills with PEOs, EORs, vendors, stakeholders, and outside counsel.
• Ability to automate HR workflows and work with tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating global immigration cases with outside counsel.
• Experience working with a PEO and EORs.
• Spanish or French language skills.
