Senior Employee Relations HR Specialist (AI)

Location: Fully remote and work from anywhere, with the role requiring residence within UTC+0 to UTC+3. The position is posted for Spain, Austria, Ireland, Poland, and Portugal.

Salary: Spain €62K–€68K; Austria €52K–€68.5K; Portugal €44K–€50K; Poland PLN 238K–PLN 275K; Ireland €68K–€70K. Equity is offered in Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Ireland.

What you will do

• Advise customers and internal stakeholders on complex, sensitive, and high-risk employee relations matters across multiple European countries.
• Support performance management, misconduct cases, investigations, terminations, and other country-specific employment issues.
• Draft, update, and scale country-specific HR information using AI and automation tools.
• Answer escalated HR questions, provide internal training, and participate in customer calls on local HR topics.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Product, Legal, and other teams to resolve country-specific issues.
• Lead People Services and cross-functional projects while auditing workflows and analyzing recurring ticket trends.

Requirements

• Deep employee relations expertise across multiple countries, including complex and high-risk cases.
• At least 6 years of employee relations and HR generalist experience supporting internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Experience with cross-country HR practices and local employment frameworks, preferably across EMEA, APAC, AMER, or LATAM.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, commercial judgment, and ability to translate complex employment topics into practical advice.
• Digital fluency and practical experience using AI tools for drafting, research, or data analysis.
• Fluent English and the ability to work within UTC+0 to UTC+3 are required.

Nice to have

• Portuguese, Italian, and/or Spanish language skills.
• Experience with Employer of Record services and international employment compliance.
• Additional languages, startup or global technology experience, and experience implementing AI or automation workflows in HR or Operations.
