Analyst, People Analytics (Power BI)

Location: Warren, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work schedule

Salary: $65,000–$87,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead workforce analyses covering attrition, talent movement, diversity, organizational effectiveness, productivity, and other people metrics.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and business stakeholders on workforce and talent decisions.
• Develop workforce planning analyses, forecasts, and scenario models to support organizational planning and growth.
• Design and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions using Power BI and related analytics tools.
• Translate workforce data and statistical findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Improve reporting and decision-making through predictive analytics, automation, AI, data governance, and data literacy initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, Business Analytics, Workforce Planning, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization platforms.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and workforce data; Workday experience is preferred.
• Experience developing executive dashboards, scorecards, self-service reporting, and workforce planning analyses.
• Knowledge of statistical methods, predictive analytics, trend analysis, data modeling, stakeholder management, and data storytelling.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience with workforce forecasting, organizational design analytics, scenario planning, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and machine learning.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, KNIME, or similar data transformation technologies.
• Knowledge of HR data governance, privacy, and workforce data management best practices.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
