Senior Product Designer, Verifications

Location: Denver, Colorado, or San Francisco, California. Hybrid work with an expectation to work from a hirify.global office 3+ days per week. A relocation stipend may be available for relocation to a hirify.global hub.

Salary: $169,000–$199,000 USD in San Francisco; $143,000–$168,000 USD in Denver.

What you will do

• Own product design for verification experiences across candidate, employer, and internal operational workflows.
• Design clear flows for verification requests, document collection, consent and authorization, appointment scheduling, status visibility, and exception handling.
• Partner with Product and Engineering from discovery through launch, shaping problems, roadmaps, and high-quality solutions.
• Use qualitative research, stakeholder input, and product data to test and refine designs.
• Use AI-assisted design and development tools to prototype and implement lightweight UI improvements when appropriate.
• Facilitate workshops and design reviews, contribute to design systems, and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Data, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of product design experience or equivalent, with a strong record of shipping high-quality work.
• A portfolio demonstrating problem framing, exploration, rationale, collaboration, iteration, and measurable impact.
• Experience simplifying complex domains and edge cases into usable workflows.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to balance user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and timelines.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration, lightweight research, interaction design, visual design, content clarity, information hierarchy, and accessibility.
• Ability to work from a hirify.global office 3+ days per week in Denver or San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience in background screening, HR technology, healthcare, identity, compliance-heavy, or other regulated domains.
• Experience designing B2B or B2B2C products for operations teams or external partners.
• Familiarity with design systems, scalable components, secure data, consent, and privacy-focused experiences.
