Product Manager III (Retail Applications & Platform Strategy)

What you will do

• Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for the OpenRetail application framework, TouchPoint Manager, and supporting platform solutions.
• Lead application modernization focused on usability, performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Gather and prioritize requirements from customers, retailers, business stakeholders, and the market.
• Partner with engineering, UX/UI, architecture, operations, commercial, and sales engineering teams to deliver product improvements.
• Manage release planning, sustaining engineering, compliance, security, operational readiness, and product performance metrics.
• Develop business cases, competitive analysis, and recommendations for platform investments and the transition from legacy systems to future-state architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with application platforms, retail technology, POS solutions, or complex software and system integration environments.
• Experience with platform architectures, application frameworks, or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, design, operations, and business teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and roadmap-planning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with retail POS ecosystems or retail technology platforms.
• Knowledge of modern application architecture, modular design, or microservices.
• Experience with customer-facing product initiatives, demonstrations, or requirements workshops.
• Experience leading platform modernization or digital transformation efforts.
• Background with device-integrated software solutions.
