Senior Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or Stockholm

What you will do

• Lead the Customer Experience engineering domain together with Product, Design, and Data partners.
• Own the multi-quarter roadmap and align delivery with hirify.global’s business goals.
• Manage the health, performance, growth, and leadership development of 8–15 engineers, including Staff Engineers and Tech Leads.
• Ensure reliable, high-quality delivery across the hirify.global app and conversational customer companion.
• Set technical direction with the Staff Engineer and connect engineering decisions to business outcomes.
• Guide the transition to agentic development and build responsible AI-powered customer experiences.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading software engineering teams, ideally including teams of around 10 or more engineers across multiple subteams.
• Strong engineering background with experience building and shipping software.
• Ability to discuss mobile and app architecture and modern AI-driven product experiences credibly.
• Experience owning a consumer-facing product surface, ideally a mobile app at scale.
• Experience setting and executing multi-quarter direction jointly with Product and Design in ambiguous environments.
• Experience leading engineers into agentic development and demonstrating results.
