NPI Team Leader (Aftertreatment and Exhaust Systems)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation is available. Travel may be required up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Lead gateway reviews for new and in-flight NPI, NTI, NMI, and NSI programs from initial GWL through post-production GW7.
• Ensure readiness of manufacturing, supply chain, design, cost, and program-budget deliverables.
• Coordinate requirements between L6 product groups and L4 aftertreatment and exhaust systems technical leads.
• Manage project plans covering budget, schedule, resources, and program milestones.
• Identify risks and tradeoffs, then engage functional teams to resolve them.
• Build application expertise and understand product use cases and competitive positioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of tactical, strategic, and operational planning.
• Working knowledge of product and service applications, quality management, problem solving, and design for manufacturability.
• Extensive program-management knowledge, including planning, monitoring, and controlling related projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.

• Aftertreatment-specific design, testing, validation, or manufacturing experience.
• NPI/L5 team-lead experience.
• Experience collaborating with L6 product groups or L4 system-integration teams.
