NPI Program Management Leader (Security Products)

Location: Onsite, primarily from an HPE office; United States of America, California salary range

Salary: USD 183,000–389,500 annual base salary in California, United States. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead the NPI Program Management team for security products, including firewalls, associated services, and certification programs such as FIPS and Common Criteria.
• Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and costs across multiple complex programs.
• Coordinate with product management, engineering, supply chain, services teams, outsourced partners, and suppliers.
• Communicate program status, escalate issues, and advise senior engineering, product, and business leaders.
• Drive process improvements, cost reductions, and operational success across the NPI lifecycle.
• Hire, coach, evaluate, and support the career development of direct reports.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of related experience, including 5+ years managing people.
• Proven experience managing NPI programs and teams of NPI Program Managers.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced communication and relationship-management skills, including engagement with senior and executive stakeholders.
• Mastery of English and the relevant local language required.

Nice to have

• PMP or PMI certification.
• Experience using AI and automation tools for program management, reporting, decision-making, and process optimization.
• Experience with engineering, technology, product, or networking domains.
