New Product Transition (NPT) PM

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead New Product Transition programs from concept release through pilot, qualification, ramp, and production readiness.
• Build integrated schedules, manage critical paths and milestones, and track risks and launch deliverables.
• Drive design for manufacturability, design for assembly, cost, quality, reliability, and serviceability considerations.
• Coordinate tooling, fixtures, test equipment, capacity planning, work instructions, process validation, and training.
• Manage engineering changes across product structures, bills of materials, routings, suppliers, and factory operations.
• Lead pilot and qualification builds, risk reviews, executive reporting, escalations, and lessons-learned activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, NPI, NPT, operations engineering, program management, or related technical leadership.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs involving engineering, quality, operations, suppliers, and supply chain.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering change control, product configuration management, and production readiness.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, leadership, risk management, and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Work in Kalispell, Montana, United States is required; relocation eligibility is available.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, electronics, or other complex engineered products.
• Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, DFMEA, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, PLM, MES, and product lifecycle management systems.
• PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, or equivalent program management certification.
