Base pay range: CAD 164,500–222,500 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop significant technology initiatives from conception through delivery across multiple product and architecture layers.
• Build platform and machine learning capabilities for identity verification, KYC/KYB, identity resolution, search, recommendations, and knowledge graphs.
• Define, prioritize, and scope requirements with peers, cross-functional teams, and business units.
• Own specifications, quality, releases, monitoring, production support, risk identification, and technical trade-offs.
• Stay current with industry trends, make strategic technology decisions, and mentor engineers across technology, process, people, and product skills.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8–12 years of software development experience in large-scale distributed technology environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, web technologies, software design, and architecture.
• Experience developing search and recommendation systems and/or knowledge graphs, plus systems that process data at large scale.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and business skills.
• Experience with Scrum, Agile processes, unit testing, and test-driven development.
