Account Manager (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at the Rogers, Arkansas office, United States. Some travel may be required.

What you will do

• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with high-value shippers, receivers, and other customer contacts.
• Develop strategic account plans, conduct market analysis, present proposals, and manage contract renewals and expansions.
• Identify pricing, growth, cross-selling, and risk opportunities while maintaining customer rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorial schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, customer service, finance, and logistics support to meet client KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage shipment tracking, delivery updates, appointment changes, load bookings, carrier selection, and operational issue resolution.
• Monitor account profitability, billing accuracy, invoicing readiness, financial reports, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of account management experience in transportation, logistics, or a comparably complex field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, influence results, multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, self-starting approach with a strong work ethic and results orientation.
• Ability to work onsite in Rogers, Arkansas, United States.

Nice to have

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Three years of transportation logistics experience and one year of LTL management experience.
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics trends, best practices, and supply chain dynamics.
• Experience with TMS, CRM software, EDI/API concepts, and Google Suite.
