Manager 3 Software Engineering - Mid Market Verticals (AI Native)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $244,000–$330,000 per year, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams responsible for the Vertical Capability Platform and emerging industry solutions within hirify.global Enterprise Suite.
• Define technology strategy and guide technical designs for scalable, reliable, AI-native platform capabilities.
• Turn common industry patterns into reusable platform capabilities while delivering differentiated industry experiences.
• Partner with Product Management, Design, Architecture, Program Management, and engineering teams to establish shared vision and alignment.
• Build high-performing teams, mentor engineering leaders and engineers, and promote technical and operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to customer problems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a technical leader of software engineering teams delivering large-scale business applications and customer-driven products.
• 12–14+ years of hands-on software development experience across backend and frontend technologies.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience leading AI-native applications using LLMs, agents, knowledge systems, and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, communication skills, and experience working across organizational boundaries.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
