Manager, Software Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Own the technical direction, health, reliability, and delivery outcomes of a critical U.S.-based fraud and risk platform domain.
• Define architectural standards, operational KPIs, reliability targets, and platform scalability and security improvements.
• Advance AI-enabled fraud detection through intelligent automation, model-driven decisioning, and data observability.
• Lead monitoring, incident response, root-cause management, DevOps maturity, CI/CD optimization, and architectural governance.
• Manage and mentor U.S.-based engineers, support hiring and onboarding, and drive performance and career development.
• Coordinate delivery across global engineering regions and partner with Product, Risk, Data, and Engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience; 4+ years with an advanced degree may be accepted.
• At least 2 years of people management experience with demonstrated team development outcomes.
• Experience owning or operating a production enterprise platform with defined reliability and performance targets.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, observability, secure development practices, system scalability, and global delivery models.
• Proven ability to improve operational performance and delivery predictability, with strong ownership and accountability.
• Fluent written and oral English and authorization to work for any employer in the United States are required.
