Technician 4, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing tool sets.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and restore tool uptime efficiently.
• Partner with engineering, vendors, and other departments to improve reliability, reduce repair time, and resolve yield issues.
• Prepare maintenance data and documentation for daily and weekly handoff meetings.
• Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, vacuum diagrams, manuals, and repair guides.
• Recommend process improvements and follow all safety and cleanroom procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electronics, industrial manufacturing, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience in semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Experience maintaining semiconductor tools, including PVD, CVD, ALD, RIE, IBE, IBD, dry etch, photo, plating, wet etch, and CMP equipment.
• Ability to interpret complex schematics, mechanical drawings, vacuum diagrams, flow charts, OEM manuals, and tool guides.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, solve maintenance problems, and comply with safety and cleanroom protocols.
