Electrical Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Asheville, NC, United States; onsite role. The position follows a rotating four-week schedule of 12-hour day and night shifts: 6:50 am–6:50 pm and 6:50 pm–6:50 am.

What you will do

• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance work orders efficiently and on time.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical problems with production personnel.
• Respond after hours to equipment emergencies and breakdowns.
• Install new and repaired equipment.
• Direct or support technicians, specialists, contractors, and other maintenance departments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year associate degree in electronics or a related field.
• Five years of satisfactory on-the-job experience in electrical maintenance or equivalent technical coursework.
• Completed at least one mechanical course and one maintenance training course covering areas such as pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, steam or heat transfer, and mechanical drive systems.
• Completed coursework in Allen-Bradley PLC and Foxboro I/A DCS systems.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair.
