Senior Manager, PSTS (AI)

Location: Hybrid role in Spring House, Pennsylvania, or San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 per year

What you will do

• Lead integrated program management across PSTS digital, data, AI, and technology priorities.
• Connect strategic priorities, investments, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, decisions, and outcomes across the portfolio.
• Develop integrated program and portfolio plans and coordinate execution across scientific, business, digital, technology, finance, and operations stakeholders.
• Establish governance, portfolio reviews, decision pathways, escalation processes, and leadership-level reporting.
• Identify cross-initiative dependencies, capacity constraints, execution barriers, and emerging risks, facilitating resolution and escalation.
• Support organizational readiness, adoption, implementation, continuous improvement, and other strategic transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, technology, project or program management, operations, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in program management, portfolio management, business operations, digital transformation, strategic execution, R&D operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading or overseeing complex, cross-functional initiatives or portfolios in a matrixed organization.
• Strong knowledge of integrated planning, dependency management, risk and issue management, governance, and execution oversight.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate decisions, establish accountability without direct authority, and communicate complex information to leadership.
• Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity and changing priorities while maintaining structure and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or another relevant advanced degree.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, or R&D environments.
• Experience with digital transformation, data, AI, automation, portfolio governance, organizational change, or business adoption.
• Familiarity with regulated environments, data governance, information security, compliance, or technology controls.
• Project or program management, Agile, or change-management certification or training.
