HR Senior Project Manager

Location: United States of America. Flexible hybrid work is available; occasional attendance at in-person events or team sessions may be required.

Salary: $110,625–$230,625 per year, with potential discretionary bonuses or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end HR programs across M&A, Total Rewards, organizational transformation, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Manage portfolio health, including risks, dependencies, milestones, decisions, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead people-side M&A delivery across due diligence, integration planning, Day 1 readiness, talent retention, and post-close execution.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, HR leadership, HRBPs, communications, and other stakeholders on sensitive programs and change adoption.
• Prepare executive-ready updates, briefings, and governance materials while facilitating leadership decisions.
• Use AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT to improve synthesis, reporting, meeting preparation, and PMO workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive program management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional HR initiatives or enterprise transformations.
• Proven end-to-end experience with people-side M&A, including due diligence, Day 1 readiness, retention, and system or cultural integration.
• Executive presence and experience advising VP-level and senior leaders, resolving cross-functional friction, and running governance meetings.
• Practical experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar enterprise collaboration tools.
• Ability to validate AI-generated work, protect confidential data, maintain compliance, and determine when automation or manual work is appropriate.

Nice to have

• Experience in an HR PMO or enterprise strategy office during restructuring, divestitures, or international acquisitions.
• PMP, PgMP, Prosci, or equivalent program or change management expertise.
• Experience building AI-enabled PMO reporting workflows, workflow orchestration, or enterprise intelligence solutions.
