Research Associate - ProteinSimple QC (Biotech)

What you will do

• Run quality control assays for ProteinSimple reagents and consumables, analyze results, and review trend data.
• Plan, execute, and manage QC activities supporting lot status determination and product release for iCE and SimpleWestern systems.
• Document lot numbers, expiration dates, physical observations, assay details, and test results accurately.
• Initiate deviation and out-of-specification investigations and revise low-complexity SOPs.
• Maintain reagent and consumable inventory, equipment, and an organized laboratory workspace.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Product Support, Assay Development, and Quality Assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related science with 0–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Alternatively, an associate degree or non-science bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant quality experience in a GMP or life science industry.
• Ability to pipette and perform electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, and western blotting techniques.
• Basic understanding of electrophoresis, data analysis, and statistical principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, JMP, and GraphPad Prism.
• Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
