Technology Experimentation Analyst

Location: Alexandria, VA, USA; office and field settings with travel of 25% or more required.

Salary: USD 100,000–110,000 yearly

What you will do

• Prepare, set up, and execute technical and operational events, technology assessments, demonstrations, and tabletop exercises.
• Set up networks and systems and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Provide in-person and virtual instruction and hands-on training to event participants.
• Develop system familiarization materials, PowerPoint presentations, computer-based training, and digital data collection and reporting capabilities.
• Capture outcomes, review test and demonstration data, identify findings and recommendations, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical and program teams to resolve issues and improve experimentation activities.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, networking, information technology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a military, Department of Homeland Security, or similar operational environment.
• Experience troubleshooting networking and software issues and supporting technology assessments, demonstrations, evaluations, or experimentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong communication, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, and prioritization skills; willingness to travel 25% or more.
