Senior Director, Group Product Owner - Enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance (eGRC)

What you will do

• Define the ambition, target operating model, investment priorities, and multi-year roadmap for the enterprise governance, risk, and compliance ecosystem.
• Lead the Operational Risk System and enterprise operational risk data governance.
• Redesign risk and control assessments, control management, issues, incidents, losses, scenarios, regulatory change, and reporting.
• Apply automation, analytics, generative AI, agentic AI, and continuous monitoring to identify emerging risk and improve decision-making.
• Establish governance, accountability, decision rights, portfolio oversight, and regulatory readiness.
• Build cross-functional alignment across Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Technology, Data, Architecture, Resilience, and related functions while developing a high-performing team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across risk, compliance, controls, technology, product, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated delivery of complex, multi-year transformation in a regulated organization.
• Deep understanding of operational risk frameworks, assessments, controls, issues, losses, data, and regulatory expectations.
• Experience establishing data ownership, standards, quality, lineage, remediation, and trusted enterprise data practices.
• Technical fluency across platforms, integrations, analytics, automation, generative and agentic AI, security, and responsible AI controls.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in Business, Risk Management, Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant risk, audit, technology, product, or project management designation.
