Product Owner, Client Lifecycle Management Applications (Capital Markets)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week onsite at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Client Lifecycle Management regulatory data initiatives.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, refine requirements, and create user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, delivery teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support release planning and guide product development from concept through delivery.
• Review completed work against acceptance criteria and validate business, quality, and client requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators, value realization, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Architect, or in a related role within Capital Markets.
• Required experience in banking and regulatory data, including strong knowledge of client and regulatory data.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum delivery, backlog prioritization, user story development, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, business requirements analysis, and technical writing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large-scale data, regulatory, or transformation initiatives within Capital Markets.
• Experience with Python.
