Director of Product, API & AI Orchestration (AI)

Location: Remote, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $174,000–$202,000 USD annually or 530,000–540,000 PLN annually, depending on location and other factors.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and operating model for the API and AI orchestration platform.
• Build, lead, and grow a product management organization.
• Define the Model Context Protocol strategy for secure AI assistant and agent access to platform capabilities.
• Develop platform monetization through usage-based pricing, tiered packaging, entitlements, and metering.
• Improve developer and partner experience through documentation, onboarding, versioning, SDKs, sandbox environments, and self-service tools.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, security, compliance, data, payments, go-to-market, partnerships, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product management experience, including leadership of product managers or product managers’ managers.
• End-to-end ownership of API, platform, or developer-facing products.
• Experience scaling a platform, API, or ecosystem business and its commercial model.
• Technical fluency with REST, GraphQL, OAuth, scopes, tokens, webhooks, versioning, and API governance.
• Ability to translate platform vision into business cases, organizational design, and prioritized delivery.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, plus a university degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP, AI agent tooling, function calling, or LLM orchestration.
• Experience monetizing platform or API products.
• Background in payments, fintech, CRM, or systems of record with strong compliance and data governance needs.
• Experience in private-equity-backed or high-growth software environments.
• Fitness industry knowledge, agile methodology experience, and strong cross-functional leadership.
