Salary: $50,000.00–$62,853.73 per year

What you will do

  • Identify patients correctly and maintain safety, privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Measure and document vital signs, pain assessments, height, and weight in electronic medical records, escalating abnormal findings to clinical staff.
  • Collect, label, and process patient specimens, and instruct patients and families on specimen collection.
  • Perform phlebotomy and EKG procedures as applicable, transport patients and clinical materials, and support disease-center procedures.
  • Coordinate patient flow, communicate wait times, prepare medical records, and support research-related data entry.
  • Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, patient-care areas, communication systems, and emergency-response procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
  • Two years of equivalent experience in a medical setting.
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment with patients of all ages and complex needs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and technical skills.
  • Must work 100% onsite in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

  • Phlebotomy certification, depending on the assigned location.
  • College coursework.
