TL;DR
Employee Relations Lead Analyst (Compliance and Reporting): Reviewing workplace accommodation requests, supporting employment compliance, audits, and policy development with an accent on legal requirements, sensitive communication, and data-driven reporting. Focus on guiding interactive accommodation processes, evaluating contract language, partnering with Legal, and preparing accurate compliance information for government audits.

Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States; hybrid arrangement requiring 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $75,400–$125,600 USD annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

  • Review reasonable accommodation requests related to disability, pregnancy, and religion under federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Guide employees and leaders through the interactive process, assess solutions, document decisions, and communicate outcomes.
  • Partner with Legal and stakeholders on complex accommodation matters and emerging compliance risks.
  • Review contract language and recommend approval, revision, or rejection for policy and government contractor compliance.
  • Support Department of Labor, client, and government audits by preparing data and responding to information requests.
  • Maintain Employee Relations policy and resource portals and translate legal changes into policies, processes, and communications.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, leave management, workplace accommodations, or a related field.
  • Experience reviewing complex accommodation requests and facilitating the interactive process.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws, including reasonable accommodation requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, mediation, influencing, and solution-building skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, handle sensitive information, work independently, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables, charts, graphs, data formatting, and presentation development.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Labor Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience drafting accommodation determinations and reviewing contract language.
  • Experience with employment compliance reporting, affirmative action planning, audits, or requests for proposal.
