Senior Employee Relations Consultant (Financial Services)

Salary: $95,600–$162,400 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Advise managers, HR partners, and employees on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, policy interpretation, workplace behavior, disciplinary actions, leave, accommodations, and separations.
• Lead complex and sensitive investigations involving misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, conflicts of interest, and policy violations.
• Conduct fact-finding, documentation, risk assessments, and timely case resolution while maintaining confidentiality.
• Coach managers and HR partners on corrective action, conflict resolution, and difficult employee matters.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, HR, and business leaders to support consistent policies and employment-law compliance.
• Analyze case trends, improve employee relations policies and processes, support organizational change, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant Employee Relations experience.
• Experience conducting complex workplace investigations and advising leaders on sensitive employee matters.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, wage and hour, and anti-harassment legislation.
• Strong investigative, analytical, consultation, coaching, communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and risk-assessment skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
