Labor Relations Business Partner

Location: Schiller Park, Illinois, United States; office-based work with irregular hours and possible on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $74,182.00–$96,437.00 per year.

What you will do

• Support collective bargaining through note-taking, scheduling, proposal preparation, and negotiation tracking.
• Administer collective bargaining agreements and coordinate with local HR and leadership teams.
• Investigate union grievances, respond to Requests for Information, and help resolve issues proactively.
• Guide HR, managers, and supervisors through grievance procedures and union contract requirements.
• Support union contract training, labor relations training, election campaigns, and prevention training.

Requirements

• Associate degree required.
• 3+ years of experience supporting collective bargaining.
• Knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act, collective bargaining, and relevant state laws.
• Clear, concise, organized, and persuasive written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, organization, prioritization, and relationship-building skills.
