hirify.global is a startup developing advanced rocket propulsion systems, including Rotating Detonation Rocket Engines and Venus Detonation Ramjets, for space, defense, and commercial high-speed flight.

What you will do

  • Lead propulsion development programs and align execution with the business plan and technology roadmap.
  • Manage requirements, resources, priorities, cost, schedule, and technical performance from design through manufacturing, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, test, purchasing, and sales activities to deliver manufacturable and marketable propulsion systems.
  • Translate mission needs into product requirements, guide design reviews, and manage technical and contractual changes.
  • Lead customer reviews, technical and schedule briefings, requirements negotiations, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and lead proposal efforts and contract negotiations in compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or national security programs.
  • 5+ years of experience as an aerospace Program Manager.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering programs to cost and schedule.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills, including preparation of CDRLs and technical data packages.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance are required; the role is subject to U.S. ITAR export-control requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience with U.S. Government programs, acquisitions, contracting, and operational concepts.
  • Knowledge of requirements decomposition and systems verification.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping, OTA contracts, and accelerated development environments.
