Strategic Sourcing Specialist Senior (Financial Services)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; in-office role

What you will do

• Manage RFx events from initial planning through supplier selection and contract execution.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives across Retail Banking, Technology, Risk, Fraud, Business Resilience, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain Operations.
• Review supplier proposals, pricing models, project pipelines, and expiring contracts.
• Develop supplier, deal, financial, and category strategies, including savings opportunities and risk mitigation plans.
• Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate contract execution with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Lead multiple projects, facilitate steering committees, and report strategic progress to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Experience with procurement and supply chain technology, ERP systems, Source-to-Pay tools, contract lifecycle management platforms, and third-party risk management solutions.
• Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and align sourcing strategies with business requirements.
• Working knowledge of financial services operating environments and experience in a regulated industry are preferred.
