Occupational Health Nurse - Box Elder Plant

Location: Box Elder Plant, United States; onsite role

Salary: $85,000–$122,200 per year

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, emergency response, injury and illness treatment, follow-up, referrals, and medication support.
• Coordinate return-to-work assessments, fit-for-duty evaluations, medical leave cases, disability, and workers’ compensation care.
• Lead occupational health monitoring and medical qualification programs, including hearing tests, respirator physicals, pulmonary function testing, and phlebotomy when required.
• Collaborate with HR, HSE, emergency response teams, medical resources, vendors, and site wellbeing teams.
• Support site audits, risk assessments, chemical clearance, change management, and compliance with occupational health regulations and company standards.
• Maintain the site health center, protect medical-record confidentiality, and deliver health coaching and wellness programs.

Requirements

• Associate Nursing Degree or higher; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse license, or ability to obtain a license in the state.
• At least 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to occupational health.
• On-site availability at the Box Elder Plant in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Occupational Health, Employee Health, or Emergency Department experience.
• COHN or COHN-S certification.
• NIOSH-approved Spirometry and CAOHC-approved Audiometry certifications.
• Adult CPR/AED certification and instructor experience.
