Onsite Nurse Practitioner

Location: Onsite in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States; the position title also references Bethesda, Maryland.

Salary: $106,300–$177,100 USD annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Provide primary care, low-acuity urgent care, and extended episodic acute care in an employer-based setting.
• Educate and co-manage employees with chronic conditions in coordination with outside primary care providers.
• Oversee CLIA-waived testing, prescription medication dispensing, and specimen collection laboratory activities.
• Deliver biometric screenings, health and wellness education, one-on-one health coaching, and wellness program referrals.
• Support travel medicine recommendations, immunizations, and allergen immunotherapy when properly trained.
• Manage collaboration with medical assistants, LPNs, employees, and local HR and Benefits teams.

Requirements

• Graduate of a certified nurse practitioner program.
• Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner license and independent practice authority in the respective state.
• At least three years of independent nurse practitioner experience in internal medicine or family practice.
• DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
• Electronic health record experience.
• BLS certification.
