Supervisor, Warehouse

Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina, United States; onsite night-shift role with 5–10% travel.

What you will do

• Direct and supervise shipping and receiving personnel during the night shift.
• Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure deliveries meet inventory availability and order promise dates.
• Receive raw materials accurately, place them into inventory, and maintain organized warehouse and material areas.
• Address quality issues with internal teams and external customers.
• Monitor safety performance, report incidents, enforce safety procedures, and conduct required training.
• Lead continuous improvement activities, conduct performance reviews, and maintain visibility on the plant floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience and at least 2 years in a formal leadership role.
• Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive position and remain alert throughout the shift.
• Experience assessing employee performance, coaching and developing staff, and communicating with varied roles.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, movement of goods and materials, inventory management, and manufacturing safety requirements.
• Ability to work outside normal hours and travel 5–10% as required.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree.
• Two years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment.
