Materials Supervisor (Mon-Thurs 5am-3pm)

Location: Jefferson, Wisconsin, USA. Onsite role with a Monday–Thursday shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Fridays are considered overtime. Earlier starts or later finishes may be required based on business needs.

What you will do

• Manage internal material flow from receiving and inspection through production-line presentation, end-of-line picking, packing, shipping, and intra-plant deliveries.
• Lead daily warehouse operations, including staging, storage, replenishment, supermarket sizing, cycle counting, and inventory transactions.
• Develop standard processes and continuous-improvement strategies that improve material handling, delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and production efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop materials staff while balancing staffing levels and workload requirements.
• Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Production to resolve quality and delivery issues and achieve operational KPIs.
• Act as the SAP SuperUser for the assigned functional area and improve warehouse-management practices involving bar coding, RFID, transactions, and fill rate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of materials leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly, work with computer-based systems, and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.
• Strong skills in accountability, communication, coaching, conflict resolution, relationship building, and leading change.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Formal leadership or team-development training.
