Senior Managing Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - USA. Candidates must be able to verify their legal right to work in the U.S. or Canada without company sponsorship.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity and AI risk advisory engagements, including maturity assessments, strategic roadmaps, governance programs, and transformation initiatives.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams with accountability for scope, schedules, resources, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Translate technical and risk findings into executive insights, business implications, and board-ready recommendations.
• Build senior client relationships and contribute to proposals, statements of work, business development, and revenue growth.
• Mentor consulting staff and support coaching and team development.
• Develop repeatable offerings, methodologies, accelerators, and intellectual property for cybersecurity and AI risk delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, business administration, risk management, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or enterprise risk consulting.
• Experience leading consulting engagements or complex cybersecurity and risk programs.
• Understanding of emerging AI governance, risk, and control requirements.
• Experience managing client relationships and communicating with senior executives.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and recommendation-development skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or another relevant advanced security or risk certification.
• Experience with AI governance or control frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, CRI FS AI RMF, or ISO/IEC 42001.
• Experience at a Big 4 firm, specialist cybersecurity consultancy, or comparable advisory firm.
• Experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity transformations, governance programs, or risk-management implementations.
• Experience presenting cybersecurity or technology-risk issues to executives and boards.
