Staff Buyer (Electronics Procurement)

Location: Georgetown, TX; based out of the Secaucus, NJ office; onsite

Base salary: $82,500–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage procurement of server PCBAs, electronic components, and related materials from qualified suppliers.
• Issue and manage purchase orders covering pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and commercial terms.
• Monitor supplier commitments, shortages, delays, supply constraints, and long-lead-time allocation risks.
• Convert MRP/ERP demand into purchase orders while maintaining inventory levels and minimizing excess materials.
• Coordinate BOM updates, engineering changes, part substitutions, and supplier quality issue resolution.
• Analyze purchasing data and maintain supplier performance records and procurement compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in electronics, PCBA, servers, networking equipment, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of PCBAs, electronic components, BOMs, and electronics manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and purchasing workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, priorities, and production requirements simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
