What you will do

• Create, review, issue, and maintain purchase orders for aftermarket parts, commercial components, and inventory replenishment.
• Manage supplier order books, track unacknowledged and past-due orders, and coordinate deferrals, expedites, and cancellations.
• Expedite critical and emergency customer orders through communication with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Investigate purchase price and PO-to-invoice variances with Accounts Payable and maintain accurate supplier pricing data.
• Analyze open purchase order reports, supplier on-time delivery scorecards, and inventory replenishment metrics.
• Issue RFQs, compare vendor quotes and lead times, collaborate with customer service, sales, logistics, and accounting, and support supply-chain improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and purchasing or order-management experience.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Epicor, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data filtering.
• Strong supplier communication, negotiation, prioritization, organizational, analytical, and data-entry skills.
• Ability to manage competing customer requirements, resolve delivery and invoice discrepancies, and follow through on open orders.
• Work is based in Appleton, Wisconsin, United States.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, or 1–2 years of experience in aftermarket parts purchasing, wholesale distribution, retail supply chain, or inventory coordination.
• Experience with supplier performance reviews, process standardization, or system enhancement initiatives.
