Senior Buyer (Aerospace)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute end-to-end procurement for complex, high-value materials, components, and services.
• Negotiate and administer purchase orders, agreements, change orders, and requests for quotes.
• Drive supplier selection, conduct supplier site visits, and monitor cost, quality, delivery, and corrective actions.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and supplier disputes while maintaining accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and engineering on program schedules and requirements.
• Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated negotiation experience with measurable cost savings or value creation.
• Experience supporting complex programs or engineered products.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional security screening may apply due to potential exposure to export-controlled information.
