Financial Reporting & Analysis Principal (Insurance)

Location: National remote within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

• Lead and control financial reporting and analysis activities.
• Develop and implement the organization’s financial reporting strategy.
• Advise and consult senior management on financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
• Coordinate projects and collaborate with numerous groups across a large organization.
• Support team motivation, employee development, performance management, and hiring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written communication, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Project management experience, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant designation.
• Insurance statutory accounting and reporting experience.
