Senior Finance Transformation Analyst (Hybrid)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid work with three days per week in the workplace

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annually, plus potential annual bonus

What you will do

• Lead smaller-scale finance transformation projects, including planning, timeline management, and solution delivery.
• Translate finance and controllership requirements into Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub and Subledger Accounting designs and configurations.
• Analyze source transactions, accounting rules, mappings, segment derivation, balancing, intercompany, and suspense logic.
• Partner with finance, technology, data, reporting, and controls teams on interfaces, validation, error handling, and process improvements.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration and accounting rule documentation, and test scenarios.
• Support integration, user acceptance, and regression testing; reconcile results, triage defects, and assist with deployment and post-go-live stabilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in financial technology change management projects focused on finance, financial systems, and business analysis.
• Experience overseeing projects, managing timelines, and implementing solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, consultation, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify design risks, configuration gaps, defects, and dependencies and provide guidance to junior analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub, Subledger Accounting, or Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Experience with finance transformation, ERP, or accounting systems implementations.
• Experience with multi-ledger, multi-currency, multi-entity, or multi-GAAP environments.
• Knowledge of accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience.
