Post Closer - Loan Sales and Delivery Jr (Mortgage Lending)

Location: 11550 Ent Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Salary: $22–$26 per hour, plus a 7% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate with Treasury, mortgage lending teams, investors, and third-party vendors to prepare and deliver loans.
• Verify that loan files, systems, and supporting documents meet investor, regulatory, and Credit Union requirements before funding and delivery.
• Resolve investor and vendor exceptions, transfer loans to the pending-sale portfolio, and transmit required data files.
• Maintain physical and electronic investor files and clear delivery exceptions throughout the month.
• Support Post Closers, the Post Closing Supervisor, testing activities, leadership needs, and special projects.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage products, loan-sale requirements, lending regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 2 years of combined experience in customer service, financial services, real estate, accounting, or a related finance field.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending terminology, first-mortgage products, investor delivery and servicing guidelines, and lending regulations.
• Ability to analyze post-closing documents, including appraisals and closing disclosures, for compliance.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar programs.

Nice to have

• At least 6 months of mortgage or consumer-loan experience in a credit union environment.
