Warehouse Lending Specialist (Mortgage Finance)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $19.00–$25.00 per hour, plus eligible discretionary annual cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Process daily funding and repayment of warehouse loan advances through automated systems while following operating procedures and loan guidelines.
• Intake, review, and finance mortgage loan advances, including wire processing and DDA cross-application transactions.
• Manage mortgage loan collateral files, electronic transmissions, collateral monitoring, and reporting.
• Coordinate with third-party document custodians to maintain accurate collateral and trailing-document records.
• Handle B2B customer relations, aged loan management, portfolio management, and daily general ledger reconciliation.

Requirements

• Two or more years of mortgage industry experience preferred; candidates without direct experience may be considered.
• Understanding of mortgage lending, loan origination, residential loan documentation, and mortgage loan processing preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong organization, time management, customer service, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Employment is subject to credit, criminal background, drug screening, and federal employment eligibility verification.

Nice to have

• Experience with collateral management and third-party document custodian integrations.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Loan System, OptiFunder, or an equivalent loan origination platform.
