Lead Demand Planner - Innovation Ventures

Location: El Segundo, California, United States. Hybrid schedule: in-office Monday–Thursday and work from home on Fridays.

Salary: $104,000–$128,000 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Develop item, assortment, channel, and market demand plans for Innovation Ventures projects with limited historical data.
• Build base, upside, and downside forecasts using consumer testing, analogous products, customer inputs, digital and social signals, point-of-sale data, and shipment trends.
• Translate route-to-market strategies into launch volumes, inventory positions, phasing, and replenishment requirements.
• Monitor sell-through, conversion, customer performance, and other early demand indicators to update forecasts rapidly.
• Connect demand scenarios to revenue, margin, inventory, working capital, and service implications.
• Establish repeatable demand-planning processes and support the transition of successful ventures into hirify.global’s broader planning organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience, or an MBA with 3 years of related experience.
• Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting, with a thorough understanding of inventory management.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and statistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience gathering and documenting process and tool requirements.
• Strong communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, training, and cross-functional influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JDA, Blue Yonder, or Anaplan.
• Experience with Tableau, Cognos, or ThoughtSpot.
• Experience with VBA or SQL programming.
• Experience supporting new product launches, innovation or venture environments, or forecasting with limited historical data.
• Experience using e-commerce, digital, social, or other emerging demand signals.
