Senior Planner, Demand

Location: Chicago, IL — Chicago/Aon Center

New hire base salary: $89,800–$112,200 annually, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

hirify.global is a large consumer packaged goods manufacturer focused on branded food products and supply chain operations.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain customer demand forecasts supporting inventory, manufacturing, deployment, and revenue decisions.
• Lead the monthly consensus forecasting process with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional partners.
• Use o9 to improve forecasting models and enable autonomous planning capabilities.
• Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast errors, biases, brand performance, item mix, consumption, shipments, and market dynamics.
• Maintain a two-year forecast by demand forecasting unit and provide management with sales forecast updates and key performance indicators.
• Partner with Supply Planning to assess supply chain implications and continuously improve forecasting accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of work experience or education in logistics, demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, or related supply chain areas.
• Proficiency in Excel and general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with forecasting or manufacturing systems is preferred.
• An MBA is preferred.
