Sr Software Engineer

Location: Irving, TX 75062, hirify.global Corporate HQ

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain enterprise software applications.
• Build solutions for complex initiatives spanning multiple technology domains and systems.
• Lead story refinement, estimation, backlog grooming, and feature-level architecture discussions.
• Contribute to product architecture decisions, engineering standards, and long-term technology strategy.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and business teams to deliver software solutions.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL development, database design, query optimization, and DDL/DML operations.
• Java or C#/.NET development with Spring Boot, Spring Java, Spring MVC, JPA, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing front-end applications with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular.
• Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and integrated application architectures.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Nice to have

• EDI and document integration experience with Boomi, Axway, Sterling, or Mulesoft.
• Experience with Agile delivery, TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, and AI-assisted development using Copilot.
• Experience in enterprise-scale distributed software development environments.
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
