Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications for spectral analysis, troubleshooting, recipe development, and measurement validation.
• Translate complex semiconductor metrology workflows into intuitive UI/UX with algorithm and application engineers.
• Analyze requirements and design features, components, and workflows with stakeholders and domain experts.
• Build interactive data visualizations including charts, heat maps, and data tables.
• Integrate frontend components with backend computation libraries and write performant, maintainable, testable code.
• Debug customer and internal-user defects, participate in code reviews, and improve development standards using AI-assisted tools where appropriate.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience: doctorate with 0 years, master's with 2 years, or bachelor's with 3 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework.
• Experience developing Windows Presentation Foundation desktop applications and UI/UX.
• Working knowledge of C++ and native/managed interop.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, multithreaded applications, and Git.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, written communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with scientific, engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, metrology, or process-control software.
• Experience with Caliburn.Micro or similar MVVM frameworks.
• Familiarity with advanced charting and visualization libraries such as LightningChart or Syncfusion.
• Experience with Protobuf or other serialization and messaging frameworks.
