Manufacturing Technician II - DAP (Night Shift) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: USA - OH - West Chester; onsite night-shift manufacturing role

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate packaging machinery, load materials, monitor equipment, select recipes, enter data in SCADA and HMI systems, and make minor adjustments.
• Perform manual packaging, rework, visual inspections, in-process sampling, and material movement using pallet jacks and lifts.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, clear jams, identify defects, and escalate quality or operational concerns.
• Complete inventory control and reconciliation activities using SAP and WES.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, line clearance, batch record completion, GMP documentation, and routine calculations.
• Support lean activities, equipment qualification, process validation, safety compliance, and daily Tier 0 meetings.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to interpret SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
• Accurate documentation and data-entry skills, including batch records and logbooks.
• Basic mathematics, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow written procedures with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and safely handle materials and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding, non-sedentary work, use required PPE, and pass an eye exam during onboarding.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, cGMP principles, Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
