Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Blaine, MN, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $20.40–$37.80 per hour

What you will do

• Identify and implement corrective actions to reduce manufacturing-related downtime.
• Evaluate and order tools and fixtures that improve production safety and efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Support new product launches, process development, and recommendations for product improvements.
• Maintain standard drawings, work instructions, bills of materials, routings, and supplemental manufacturing data.
• Support material and labor cost estimates, process selection, and capital planning and acquisition projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; a 2-year or 4-year degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to document processes in work-instruction format.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Proficiency in, or ability to learn, Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, and SolidWorks.
