Maintenance Supervisor – Afternoons (Manufacturing)

Location: York, Pennsylvania, USA. Full-time, onsite role on the B shift (afternoons), Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Occasional support outside the assigned shift or on weekends may be required.

What you will do

• Manage maintenance and facilities activities in a large manufacturing and distribution environment.
• Supervise, train, coach, and coordinate maintenance and operations employees.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance for production equipment.
• Coordinate staffing, materials, equipment, schedules, and maintenance work with Supply Chain and Operations to minimize downtime.
• Maintain repair-parts inventory, purchasing processes, payroll and attendance records, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive safety, quality, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and OEE initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of related experience.
• A 2–4 year post-secondary degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and packaging operations, equipment, materials, and workflows.
• Technical knowledge of PLCs and controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, prioritization, and employee-relations skills; proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with lean manufacturing practices including 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement.
