TL;DR
Financial Analyst (New Grad) (Nuclear Enrichment/FP&A): Running finance operations for a nuclear fuel enrichment company, including accounts payable, spend controls, reporting, budgeting, and long-range cost projections with an accent on capital programs, facility build-out, and engineering collaboration. Focus on building financial models, analyzing budget variances, and making clear recommendations from incomplete information while supporting major development campaigns.

Location: Los Angeles, CA; permanent U.S. residence required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Base salary: $85,000–$120,000 annually, plus potential stock options and benefits for full-time hires.

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates low-cost uranium enrichment services in the United States to support domestic nuclear fuel production.

What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and supplier issue resolution.
  • Own procure-to-pay, card spend, and expense management platforms, including workflows and controls.
  • Produce weekly spending and budget-to-actual reporting and flag variances to budget owners and leadership.
  • Build department and company spend projections for annual budgets and ongoing forecasts.
  • Support cost modeling and analysis for capital programs, facility build-out, and long-range planning.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams and embed with them during major development campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or a related analytical role, including internships.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and the ability to perform trade studies using first principles.
  • Ability to make clear recommendations with partial information.
  • Permanent U.S. residence and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance are required.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a fast-paced engineering or highly technical environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, procure-to-pay, or spend management platforms such as Ramp, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Experience with accounts payable, expense management, or month-end close.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial models, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools; CPA or CMA progress is a plus.
